Catching Up

It's been too long since I posted here...I've been really enjoying the discussions on the course blog and kind of forgot about my personal blog.  I'll try to catch up over the next few weeks we have here.

Another thing I'm really enjoying about this class is that everything we're discovering here seems to have lots of uses.  DS itself has about a zillion uses, but then all the resources around it, from software to hardware to Questia and Googlebooks, also have lots of different ways to use them, in DS, in other education, and beyond.  This is what I really love about the web 2.0 stuff...it's easier to find the resource that fits your needs, and once you find one you like and learn about all the OTHER cool stuff it does, your repertoire expands.  

What I want to know is how to find neat stuff like this.  I often love things other people link me to or tell me about, but how do you discover the hot new resources?
