Websites
This course has made me realize just how much work goes into creating a website and keeping it up-to-date. It's very easy to critisize sites...I do it all the time as I am doing various things on the internet. "Why don't they have this?" "Why did they format it that way?" and so on. I'm learning in this class that a) you can't please everyone, and b) most of these things are easier said than done. And the site we are working on is a relatively simple one in that it doesn't have a highly interactive component like, for example, a banking website or a shopping website.

ReplyDeleteYou are so right about how quickly we are to judge. I have also caught myself thinking this particular website might have been formated differently, not enough or too many links, and etc...
On a positive note, at least we are now more aware of the facets needed to make a website more appealing.
